The Cape Fear High School Symphonic Band performs concert band arrangement works for several different occasions throughout the Spring Semester.

The Symphonic Band is mostly comprised of Freshman and Sophomore students in the Cape Fear Band Program although being in those grade levels does not signify you will be in that ensemble. Adequacy, skill level, and musical maturity are taken into consideration as well.

The Symphonic Band will always perform at the North Carolina Bandmasters Association's Music Performance Adjudication festival (MPA) and our annual Spring Concert. This group looks to achieve success in the grade 3-4 range while challenging students to take that next leap into more difficult literature.
